I would like to agree with Josephine Shaw regarding buses in Beckfield Lane.

Not only did the No1 go into Acomb Front Street but also via Holgate into York.

As a host family for Melton College students (Melton College is on Holgate Hill) this bus service was perfect and safe for them. Now the students have to walk a quarter of a mile into Acomb. Walking is healthy, but I do feel that safety and convenience (not to mention ease of explanation) for foreign students is paramount.

In their process of “constant review”, are First York considering the needs of local residents?

In Beckfield Lane and surrounding streets that means needing access to Beckfield Lane, Front Street and Holgate for local services, eg doctors and dentists, pharmacy and hairdressers etc.
