MBE stands for “My Big Ego” (letters June 19).
I could not have put it better myself, but I spent quite some time last week-end searching the paper to find out if any TV presenter in the south had also been awarded a decoration for talking endlessly about sport in what is supposed to be a news programme and when not doing that making disparaging remarks about northerners.
