POLICE are searching for a man who has not been seen since leaving hospital at the weekend.
Mark Andrew Nicol left York Hospital at about 11.20am yesterday, and currently has both legs in plaster, and is using crutches to get around.
North Yorkshire Police said officers are concerned for Mark’s welfare, as he has health issues and they are worried for his well being.
Mark is white, about 5ft 7in tall, with a medium build and short brown hair, and although his whereabouts are unknown, it is thought he may be in the York or Selby area.
Inspector Andy Godfrey, of York Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “Mark, if you see or hear this appeal, I urge you to get in touch with the police straight away so that we can confirm you are safe and well. I also need to speak to anyone who can help locate Mark and ask them to contact the police immediately.”
Anyone with information should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101.
