BUSKERS will bring a splash of colour to York city centre this weekend at the annual Buskival festival organised by the city council.
More than 50 street performers are expected in town tomorrow and Sunday at different locations.
Councillor Sonja Crisp said: “This year we have some great prizes up for grabs, adding to the excitement of the event.
“We’re asking people to vote for York’s favourite busker and, thanks to event sponsors HomeSense, they will automatically have a chance to win a £100 HomeSense gift card or five runners-up prizes of £25.”
