THE final few tables are up for grabs at next month’s York Hospital fundraising Star Ball, say organisers.
The event is one of the biggest financial boosts of the year for the hospital’s refurbishment of the Stroke Unit and organisers are keen to see the last five tables sold.
Lucy Lowthian, fundraising manager, said: “Support for this year’s ball has been fantastic and we have already sold more tables than last year. “We would love to sell the last few tables of 10 at our ball which we know will be a fantastic evening, raising money for a great cause.”
The ball features a three-course meal and a range of entertainment, including Alfie Whattam, the 16-year-old magician from York who performed on last year’s Britain’s Got Talent.
The event takes place at 6.30pm on Saturday, June 15.
Tickets are £55 each and tables of 10 are £500. To buy tickets contact Lucy Lowthian on 01904 721737 or email lucy.lowthian@york.nhs.uk
