A NORTH YORKSHIRE man has been found safe and well after he went missing earlier this week.
Police and Lewis Treble’s family launched public and internet appeals for help when he failed to turn up at work on Wednesday, despite leaving his home in the Selby area as normal at 8am.
At 8.30pm last night, police announced Lewis had been found and was back home in Selby. They thanked everyone for their help.
The search began when 20-year-old man’s employer contacted his parents on Wednesday morning, two hours after he had been due to start work.
As his absence from work was out of character, his family were worried and contacted the police.
Insp Charlotte Bloxham, of North Yorkshire Police, issued a public appeal for him to contact his parents immediately and for anyone who saw him to get in touch. Both the police and his family took to Twitter to try and trace his whereabouts.
