THIEVES stole a pony trap from a field in Balne, between 1pm on February 8, and 3pm on February 12.
The trap is a green two-wheeled vehicle with carriage wheels, hardwood seats and black shafts, which has been extended by about two feet.
Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time, or who has been offered the trap for sale, should phone North Yorkshire Police on 101.
