Dance students Lily Coombes, Toby Knockers and Charlotte Hagston celebrate the Chinese Year Of The Snake at York College
The atrium at York College was draped in red and gold as students and staff celebrated Chinese New Year.
The event, organised by the York College Students’ Union, included a traditional lion dance performed by students studying the Extended Diploma in Dance.
Art, design and craft students created Chinese lanterns and Chinese food was served in the catering department.
There are more than 120 international students at York College, including 22 from China.
