CHILL we meet again. The Ice Factor returns to York on Friday, and once more locals and tourists will be able to slip around the temporary rink.

On its first visit last year, the attraction was a great success, attracting more than 35,000 slip-sliding punters.

This year, the rink is even bigger, which should allow more skaters to glide gracefully across the frozen surface (or, possibly, acquaint their bottoms with the ice).

With the Yorkshire Wheel still spinning outside the National Railway Museum, York now has two different attractions. And visitors have two more reasons to come to the city.
