HAVING attended the Remembrance Day parade in York, I was saddened and dismayed that there was no marching military band, only a local band playing brass instruments.
Although they did a very good job, surely if we are going to "Remember Them", is it too much to ask for the military to provide a fitting tribute for our fallen heroes? Is it the cut backs? What next? No gun salute because the artillery is needed elsewhere.
