WHEN many farmers and others are having to diversify to survive, it wouldn't be a bad idea if Portakabin tried to do likewise, and instead of putting its workforce on a four-day week, made a few prefabs.
Now that prefabs appear to be about to be all the rage, I am sure Portakabin has the name and expertise to be highly successful.
What a boost it would be not only for the workers of Portakabin, but also for young married couples trying, but unable to get on the housing ladder.
