A FAMOUS face has helped to launch a new menu at a York restaurant.
Celebrity chef Aldo Zilli visited J Baker’s Bistro in Fossgate to host a one-night special event at the restaurant, cooking up some of his famous fish dishes and Italian specialities.
Aldo said: “It’s great to travel up to York to one of the city’s destination restaurants. I am excited about previewing my menu to a northern audience in a venue where people are used to experimenting with new and exciting flavours.”
The restaurant’s new Essentials menu includes classic dishes like shepherd’s pie, slow-cooked beef and carrots, macaroni cheese and rose veal meat balls.
