DETECTIVES have said they will keep looking “for as long as it takes” for a wanted man believed to have been involved in a violent attack at a York pub.
A 32-year-old man was assaulted in the outside smoking area of the Castle Howard Ox, on Townend Street, last November, and York Police want to speak to 21-year-old Ryan MacLeod about the crime.
MacLeod is also wanted for recall to prison after breaching the terms of his release licence. He is believed to have Manchester links and officers have checked known addresses in the city and York, but have not yet tracked him down.
“If MacLeod thinks we are going to stop looking for him, he is very much mistaken – in fact, it is quite the opposite and we will keep looking until we find him, no matter how long it takes,” said Det Insp Dave Kirby.
