YOUNGSTERS at Stockon-on-the-Forest Primary School went back to the 1970s to celebrate their school's 30th anniversary.
Parents were invited to join pupils and teachers, past and present, to mark the occasion. At a special assembly, children - dressed in suitable 70s attire - presented all the facts and figures they had uncovered about the school's three-decade history, and performed a song composed for the anniversary.
Staff member Justine Bell said: "After the assembly, the school hall remained open for visitors to view displays made up from the school's history - old photographs, newspaper cuttings and so on.
"All school children were also presented with a special celebration mug."
