York-born Dame Judi Dench
YORK-born Oscar-winner Dame Judi Dench has been nominated for a BAFTA for her role in Skyfall.
Dame Judi’s role as M in the 23rd film in the James Bond franchise has secured her a nomination in the Best Supporting Actress category.
The film was also nominated for seven other awards, and the winners will be announced at the ceremony next month.
