A MAN who has gone missing from a Gloucestershire prison may have travelled to North Yorkshire, police have warned.
Sean Cawthray, 41, was last seen at about 5.30pm on Sunday at HMP Leyhill and is thought to have left the prison before 8.30pm, according to Avon and Somerset Police.
A search has since been launched. Police say Cawthray has links with Yorkshire as well as Leicestershire, London and the south-west.
He is white, between 5ft 9ins and 5ft 11ins tall, of medium build, with short brown hair and blue eyes.
When he was last seen, he was wearing silver trainers, cream combat trousers and a light blue Helly Hansen-type top.
He may also have been wearing either a worker’s fluorescent jacket, a grey jacket with orange patches or a black jacket with a blue patch.
Anybody who sees Cawthray should not approach him but should phone 999 immediately.
