York-based radio station Minster FM has today rebranded itself as 104.7 Mince Pie FM for the festive season.
From today until Christmas Day the radio station will broadcast under the new name bringing festive flavours to the airwaves of Yorkshire.
David Green, programme controller and head elf, David Green, said: “Over the last few years the media landscape has changed dramatically and we’re constantly examining our position in the market place. Since Galaxy disappeared from the radio dial there has been a glaring lack of a radio station named after a food product.”
