Police concerns about man seen running towards river

EMERGENCY services have been called after a man was seen to abandon his car at the Tower Street roundabout and run towards the river.
Police and the fire service were called to the scene after concerns were raised for the man at about 7.15am.
Fire service rescue boats were at the scene.
The fire service have been stood down but the police continue to search for him, a police spokesman said.
