THE motorist who was killed in an accident on the A64 near York on Monday has been named as Marzena Dajlanaj, 30, from Heslington Road, York.
The inquest into her death was opened and adjourned today.
She died when her car left the westbound carriageway near Bilbrough Top and crashed into a ditch early on Monday morning.
Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward to help them establish why the vehicle left the road.
