Biker hurt in North Yorkshire crash

A BIKER has suffered a suspected broken arm after a crash in the Selby district.
The crash happened at just before 10am at Birkin, close to St Mary’s Church, when the motorcyclist lost control of his bike.
A spokesman for Selby police said the biker, a man in his fifties, lost control on a patch of ice, and was taken to hospital with a suspected fracture to his elbow.
