A grant worth £11,000 for Yorventure has been awarded for footpath work around Chapman’s Pond in Dringhouses, York.

Coun Anna Semlyen secretary of the Friends of Chapman Pond, said the grant would help improve accessibility to the area by building walkways and improving the entrance to make it more wheelchair-friendly.

That'll make it easier to burgle the homes backing on to it and safely escape with the goods!

It will also make it easier to dump green waste when the Council starts charging for emptying the green bins.
