Spilt diesel causes crashes in York
9:35am Wednesday 14th November 2012 in News
SPILT diesel was blamed for a number of vehicles losing control off Layerthorpe in York.
Paramedics were called after a woman crashed her scooter at about 10am and while they were at the scene, they also found a VW Golf had hit a wall.
The female driver of the scooter was taken to York Hospital with minor injuries and the 19-year-old male driver of the car was also given treatment.

Notwithstanding that diesel is lethal, especially on a wet road, I hope that the scooterist is OK.
However, yet again poor journalism from the Press. The woman came off her scooter at 10am, yet the report was submitted at 935 am.
Any chance of picking some lottery numbers?
All clear now?

You are all correct, it should specify and it doesn't but the specifics could be almost be inferred using logic - almost because it could've been any day in history.
Come on Press, for the sake of peace love and harmony, take a little care. See what one tiny omission can snowball into?
Do you want blood on your hands?
