VIENNA Festival Ballet performs Cinderella at the Grand Opera House, York, tomorrow night at 7.30pm.
This full-length ballet version of the familiar story of Cinderella has been choreographed by Sheila Styles to the music of Rossini.
The specially commissioned orchestral score, created solely for Vienna Festival Ballet by Chris Nicholls, utilises music from Rossini’s La Cenerentola, The Italian Girl In Algiers and Silken Ladder.
All the usual ingredients will feature: a downtrodden young girl, a glass slipper, two comical ugly step-sisters and a handsome prince.
Tickets can be booked on 0844 847 2322 or online at grandoperahouseyork.org.uk
