HULL actor Tom Courtenay revives his own dramatised compilation from the letters, articles and poems of Philip Larkin, the poet and Hull University librarian.
Larkin was one of the great masters of the English language and this show captures his witty and touching reflections on his life and his unflagging obsession with being a writer.
Commissioned by the Larkin Society to mark the 25th anniversary of his death, Pretending To Be Me is presented in Pocklington in a new version of Courtenay’s West End hit.
Tickets are still available at £19 on 01759 301547 or online at pocklingtonartscentre.co.uk
