Vienna Festival Ballet will dance extracts from Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker in the Tchaikovsky Gala evening at the Grand Opera House, York, on Monday, May 4, at 7.30pm.
The company was founded by Austrian dancer Peter Mallek with a policy of engaging international dancers from all corners of the globe. Among the soloists in York will be Samantha Camejo Lunt, from Brazil; Saori Ishiyama, from Japan; Eva Koniavitou, from Greece; Bridgett Letters, from Australia; and Carl Hale, from Dudley, West Midlands.
