TAVAZIVA Dance presents Heart Of Darkness at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough, on March 26.
This emotional dance voyage through the eyes of Zimbabwean-born choreographer/composer Bawren Tavaziva features four works in four different moods.
Silent Steps is a contemporary piece for three women, Sinful Intimacies is a sensual duet exploring the unease of African society with same-sex love, Kenyan Athlete is a group dance set to a fast-paced soundtrack, while Mr Friend Robert offers a personal comment on the challenges facing Africa today.
