POCKLINGTON Arts Centre’s new season opens with two talks, both with a broadcasting connection.
Tonight, at 7.30pm, in An Audience With Michael Portillo, the former Conservative MP and Cabinet Minister turned writer, broadcaster and documentary maker discusses his diverse career and conducts a question-and-answer session in the second half.
On Wednesday, at 7.30pm, Artery Live presents Life In The Freezer, photographer Ben Osborne’s insight into how BBC film crews make television wildlife documentaries in Antarctica. His stories will be accompanied by behind-the-scenes images of the wild and remote places they visited and plenty of photos of penguins, whales and seals.
