Can Bob fix it? Yes he can when the world tour of Bob The Builder Live! visits the Grand Opera House, York, on Tuesday and Wednesday.

HIT Entertainment and IP Live are presenting Bob's new musical stage show, Spud's Big Mess! - a chance for children to sing along with their favourite characters Wendy, Spud, Scoop, Dizzy, Scrambler and many more, as a new eco-centre and wind farm takes shape in Sunflower Valley.

Everyone pitches in to help but when items and members of Bob's trusty team start to go missing, Bob has a job on his hands to ensure everything will be finished in time in a show with educational messages about caring for the environment, recycling and teamwork.

Bob The Builder has visited York already on his eco-friendly tour, meeting children and adults alike. First he popped into the Ducklings' Nursery, in Peasholme Green, where the children have been working on a recycling project, and later he had a quick tour of the new York EcoDepot in James Street. Here the Neighbourhood Service Directorate is responsible for waste and recycling collections and highway maintenance.

Bob's trip ended with a stop at Smartypants Nursery.

His show can be seen at 2pm and 5pm on Tuesday, 11am, 2pm and 5pm on Wednesday. Tickets cost £14 to £16.50 for children, £16 to £19.50 for adults, £64 for families, on 0844 847 2322 or at www.grandoperahouseyork.org.uk
