WOULD you like appear in this winter’s Grand Opera House pantomime in York, Jack And The Beanstalk. Are you aged seven or above?
If so, New Pantomime Productions will be holding children’s dance auditions on Thursday, September 24 at the Cumberland Street theatre. Boys and girls of a maximum height of 5ft 2ins will audition for roles as Babes at 4.30pm; boys and girls of a minimum height of 5ft 2ins will audition as seniors at 7pm.
Everybody should wear clothes suitable for auditions.
All candidates will be auditioned in groups and taught a short dance routine. Those auditioning should ensure that, if successful, they would be available to attend every rehearsal from November 28, mainly after school and at weekends.
Those who succeed in these competitive auditions will perform as dancers in the pantomime run from December 11 to January 3 2016. Please note, these positions are unpaid.
