OPERA producer Ellen Kent returns to the Grand Opera House, York, on March 20, with her Opera & Ballet International production of Verdi’s La Traviata.
The 7.30pm performance will feature sumptuous sets and costumes by the renowned Ukrainian designer Nadia Shvets from the National Ukrainian Opera of Kharkiv, a host of international soloists from the national operas of Odessa, Spain and Rostov and the musicians of the National Philharmonic in Chisinau.
Ellen’s latest company features the sopranos Alyona Kistenyova and Maria Tonina and the production will be sung in Italian with English surtitles. Tickets are on sale on 0844 871 3024 or at atgtickets.com/york
