DIRECT from the United States, Judy – The Judy Garland Story is touring Britain with a special guest in the show, namely the late Judy's daughter, Miss Lorna Luft.

Visiting the Grand Opera House, York, from May 14 to 16, the show will take the audience through the life and music of Judy Garland: the highs and the lows, the good times and the bad.

In evening performances at 7.30pm and a 2.30pm Saturday matinee, Judy Garland's songs will be performed by award-winning singers and dancers, who recreate film scenes from her golden Technicolor years at MGM.

The show will then transport the audience to Judy's legendary concert performances, recalling her shows at New York’s Palace Theatre and the London Palladium in a lavish spectacle.

Among the songs will be Over The Rainbow, The Man Who Got Away, Get Happy, The Trolley Song, You Made Me Love You, Swanee, Rock-A-Bye Your Baby and Zing Went The Strings Of My Heart.
