DANI Harmer will return to York Barbican for one day only in the Easter pantomime Beauty And The Beast on March 31.
The star of CBBC's Tracey Beaker and the fourth-placed contestant in the 2012 series of BBC1's Strictly Come Dancing will play Beauty, appearing alongside comedian Bobby Davro as Silly Billy in a family show from the team behind past Barbican pantomimes The Wizard Of Oz and Cinderella.
The show tells the story of Beauty, who longs for romance and adventure, a bad-mannered Prince, who is transformed into a Beast to teach him a lesson, and a good Fairy, who makes their dreams come true.
A star cast, dazzling production numbers, pantomime magic and slapstick, plenty of jokes and heaps of audience participation are all promised.
Dani previously appeared at York Barbican in 2012 as Dorothy in The Wizard Of Oz and in the title role in Cinderella and played not-so-innocent Janet in The Rocky Horror Show at the Leeds Grand Theatre in June 2013.
Tickets for the 2pm and 5.30pm shows cost £19, concessions £17, family of four £65, on 0844 854 2757 or at yorkbarbican.co.uk
