Neighbours actress Ra Chapman has said although her soap character may be more toned down than her Wentworth role, both women are just as tough.
Ra plays one of dodgy Dennis Dimato’s associates Michelle Kim in the Australian soap and also stars as Franky Doyle’s lover Kim Chang in prison drama Wentworth.
She said: “In Wentworth, my character takes the lead while in Neighbours, she is running an illegal car racket and is relentless in getting what she wants. Sometimes a bit scary.
“Michelle has been a lot of fun to play because you see her evolving all the time and getting tougher and meaner.”
Ra finished filming on Neighbours this week and is off to New York for an acting workshop before returning to Australia for another project later in the year.
