Jodie Kidd has accused Lady Victoria Hervey of being “nasty” on The Jump.
The model, 36, was booted out of the Channel 4 winter sports show on Tuesday night (February 3) after losing out to the socialite and Made in Chelsea star Louise Thompson on the Snow Cross and then to Olympian Louise Hazel on The Air Jump.
Jodie said after her exit: “I wouldn’t have minded (losing to Lady Victoria) at all. But watching that VT and seeing how nasty she was … I was a bit put back.”
She said that she thought Lady Victoria had been just “a bit nervous” when she was frosty towards her on the earlier skeleton run.
But she said that Lady V’s competitive spirit had got the better of her, adding: “It’s not the Olympics, love.”
Jodie said: “Last night, she (Lady Victoria) said: ‘I’m going to thrash you because you’re so much slower… Everyone else has been so nice, so supportive and she was really slamming me.”
The model said that there had been no history between the pair and that they hadn’t ever known each other well, but she had seen Lady Victoria out and about.
But she added: “I’ve never gone for dinner with her and probably won’t!”
Jodie said she had been “frustrated” to be “on the back foot” and always “catching up” on The Jump, because she was a latecomer replacing Sally Bercow when she was injured.
But the model said that she had “no regrets” about taking part in the series, despite going out in “spectacular style… eating a lot of snow”.
She said she had made “some amazing friends for life” adding: “I feel proud… it was the chance of a lifetime.”
