Sam Faiers has admitted that she and boyfriend Joey Essex don't miss the drama that being a part of The Only Way Is Essex brings.

The couple shot to fame as part of the ITV2 reality show known for its heated arguments and romances gone wrong, but have both since moved on to work on other TV programmes and to continue to run their own clothing boutiques.

Asked if she missed being a part of Towie, Sam replied: "I'm going to be completely honest - no, I don't. We're still huge fans of the show, we sit and watch it and we've still got best friends and friends on the show, but in terms of the drama and everything that goes on, it's nice just to sit back and watch it and not be involved."

She added: "The door's always going to be open for us, but with what's going on in our lives and what we've achieved, I think it's now onwards and upwards, we wouldn't particularly want to look back."

The couple have been promoting Doddle, a parcel service where customers can pick up and drop off their packages rather than waiting at home for post to arrive, and said that they had used the service to send each other gifts.

Joey said: "I got Sam a teddy because I love purple teddies and I know she loves teddies so I got her a teddy."

Sam bought Joey relationship self-help book Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus and said: "I got Joey a book which explains the difference between a man and a woman."

Asked what he thought the differences were, Joey answered: "Because women are crazy," while Sam demanded: "What do you mean, 'women are crazy'?"
