Laura Whitmore and Rob Beckett have revealed the contestants on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! really smell after days of sleeping rough in the jungle.

The pair, who present ITV2 spin off series - I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Now! with Joe Swash, admitted interviewing the celebrities when they have just been voted off the show is not a pleasant experience.

Rob revealed: "They really do smell. But then if you washed your shirt in a lake every day, it would stink."

Laura added: "Everyone smells really bad.

"I remember [Pussy Cat Doll] Ashley Roberts who did it last year, she said because you're with all these other people that smell, you forget. She said she forgot what it was like to be clean because she was surrounded by all these people who weren't, and then at the live trial she thought 'There's clean people!'."

And Rob confessed he gets scared just going in to film in the jungle after the live trials are over.

"The floor is disgusting, there's stuff everywhere," he groaned. "I hate all that stuff, I could never do the trials. I'm absolutely pathetic.

"Once I went to sit down on my seat in the studio and I was like ,'Oh there's a scorpion on my chair.' And they said, 'Just brush it off,' I was like, 'It's not crumbs it's a scorpion!'."

:: I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Now! start on ITV and ITV2 respectively on Sunday, November 17.
