Taylor Swift has been dismissed as a potential juror in an aggravated rape and kidnapping case.
The singer reported for jury duty this week, and posed for pictures with excited fans at the court in her native Nashville.
But Davidson County District Attorney General’s Office spokesman Ken Whitehouse said the star told the judge on Monday that she was concerned because of an upcoming trial in Denver involving allegations she was groped by a fan at a meet-and-greet.
Whitehouse said the singer told the judge she is more than willing to serve on a jury in any other type of case.
Whitehouse said the judge thanked her and let her leave.
