Kim Kardashian has revealed that she considered adopting a teenager from Thailand.

The reality TV star - who has a one-year-old daughter North with husband Kanye West - expressed her desire to make a 12-year-old girl named Pink part of her family when she visited an orphanage in the latest episode of reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, reported Us Weekly.

"I literally cannot stop thinking about her," Kim told her mother Kris Jenner and half-brother Brandon Jenner. "I told Kanye, I was like, 'Honestly, this girl is so sweet and so cute, I would totally adopt her'."

But her mother advised the 33-year-old socialite against making a rash move, so Kim contributed by bringing gifts, supplies and donations to the children.

Kris said: "That's a little aggressive. I think that you can't just go to an orphanage and fall in love with a child and then take them home like you're shopping.

"You get very passionate about things and then you don't think the whole thing through. I bet there are other things that you could do that would make all the difference in this little girl's life."

Meanwhile, Kim has shared a photo of Kanye taking their daughter North to work at his recording studio.

The image, which was uploaded onto Kim's Instagram, showed the onesie-clad child looking straight at the camera while her proud father gazed lovingly at her.

"#BringYourDaughterToWorkDay," Kim tagged the photo.
