THE Waterfront Blues & Soul Club makes a big splash on Sunday at Pitcher & Piano, Coney Street, York, from 2pm to 7pm with Seventies and cross-over soul specialist Sean Hampsey.
This Northern Soul enthusiast will be playing a selection of original vinyl and some unreleased and previously unheard Bobby Womack acetates.
The club’s resident DJs, including promoter Jay Cee, Andy Bellwood, Mr Green and Chris 'Bearsoul' Morgan, will be joined on Sunday by Harrogate's Dave Kilner and Kev Birkel . As always, admission is free.
