WE'RE spoilt for choice for Gig Of The Week with the Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival under way at Bramham Park.
Take your pick from any of Pearl Jam on the main stage today, Franz Ferdinand or Kaiser Chiefs on the main stage tomorrow, Primal Scream on the BBC Radio One/NME stage tomorrow, or Muse and The Arctic Monkeys on the main stage on Sunday.
Or, if it's new talent you're looking for, how about local band Hair, who will be lining up on the Topman Unsigned stage on Sunday? The four-piece, three of whom hail from Bishop Wilton, near Pocklington, were picked from hundreds of other bands across Yorkshire to win a place at the festival, following heats at the Cockpit, in Leeds.
They arrive at the Carling Weekend fresh from appearing at the Secret Garden Party in Cambridgeshire last weekend with Graham Coxon and Lily Allen. "We can't wait to get up there and play," says keyboard player Neil Clark.
