DORIN Tuca will be the soloist for Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor at tomorrow’s Spring Concert by the York Symphony Orchestra at the Sir Jack Lyons Concert Hall, University of York.
Under the baton of Alasdair Jamieson, the 8pm programme opens with Walton’s Spitfire Prelude and Fugue and also includes Martucci’s Symphony No 1 in D minor. Tickets: £10, seniors and students £9, children £5, on 01904 627900 or on the door.
