YORK rock band Mantra take part in the Good Friday All Dayer at the Speakeasy, Gillygate, York today.
Oliver Stevens-Vallecillo, vocals and guitar, Cat Redfern, bass, and Seb Sanghera, bass, will be promoting their full-length album Blackened Cross and single of the same title.
Mixed and produced by David Chang at Philia Studios last August, the album is available to buy online at www.classixshop.com or from Mantra’s MySpace website, www.myspace.com/mantra1, while the digital single can be downloaded from iTunes, Amazon, Napster and Rhapsody.
Formed in 2003, Mantra have toured every corner of Britain, playing more than 300 gigs, including the Bloddstock Open Air Festival. Further York dates to note are their April 28 appearance in the Fibbers Battle of the Bands semi-final and July 25 gig at The Junction.
