THE Joseph Rowntree Theatre's regular Music Night singers present their Christmas Cracker concert in York on Sunday night with guest participants too.
Joining the usual soloists, Jo Pears, Elaine Pears, Yvonne Gartside and George Horne, in their festivities will be York singers Janina & Steve Sweetenham, along with The Tuesday Singers and Ken Humphries, all under the direction of Don Pears.

Meanwhile, tickets have sold out for both of the Shepherd Group Brass Band Christmas Concerts at the JoRo tomorrow and Saturday.
The 7.30pm programme each night features four of the bands that make up the Shepherd Group Brass Bands, performing festive music of all types. "This is not your usual brass band concert," says the Shepherd Group. "Instead there will be lots of Christmas fun, culminating in the grand finale when all the bands join together on stage."
