CALIFORNIA'S Vintage Trouble play the Scarborough Spa Grand Hall on Saturday night.
"Over the past few years, Vintage Trouble have stunned audiences worldwide, opening for The Rolling Stones and touring Europe/North America with The Who, Paloma Faith, AC/DC, Lenny Kravitz, Joss Stone and Willie Nelson, and playing their own sold-out headline shows worldwide," says Tim Hornsby, alias Mr H, who is co-promoting the 8pm gig with Futureworld.
"Do you love Ike & Tina, Little Richard and Chuck Berry? Do you love your R&B with a bit of balls? Do you wanna see the best live show around right now? If so, they’re here at the seaside. An amazing must-see show for Scarborough."
After earlier releases Bomb Shelter Sessions and The Swing House Acoustic Sessions, Vintage Trouble have signed to the Blue Note label to issue third album 1 Hopeful Rd. Produced by triple Grammy winner Don Was, it blends blues, soul and riff-heavy rock'n'roll, bringing to mind both James Brown and Led Zeppelin.
Doors open at 7.30pm; support comes from Slydigs. Tickets for this standing gig cost £18.50 on 01723 821888 or at scarboroughspa.co.uk
