DUTCH jazz-pop chanteuse Caro Emerald will accompany the autumn release of her third album with a 16-date November and December tour.

Emerald, the Amsterdam Conservatory jazz-trained vocalist with the retro look of a vintage Hollywood icon, will play Harrogate International Centre on November 28 and Sheffield City Hall two nights later.

Making her debut with her 2010 multi platinum-selling Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor, Emerald has fashioned her own niche with her blend of old-school jazz, sampling and modern pop.

Sophomore album The Shocking Miss Emerald entered the British charts at number one in May 2013, remaining in the listings for an entire year. On Monday, Emerald will issue Quicksand as a glimpse of album number three, whose title and release date are yet to be announced.

If you can’t wait until November, Emerald can be heard on April 30 on BBC Radio 2 in a concert broadcast live from the Cheltenham Jazz Festival from 8.30pm to 10pm. She also has a concert date in her diary for July 8 at Kew Gardens, London.

Tickets for Harrogate and Sheffield go on sale at 10am tomorrow at gigsandtours.com and ticketmaster.co.uk or 0844 811 0051 and 0844 826 2826.
