KING Of Pop – The Legend Continues stars Navi as Michael Jackson at the Grand Opera House, York, on Saturday at 7.30pm.
Navi is “officially recognised as the world’s number one Michael Jackson impersonator”, a status he holds on account of being the only tribute act to have been chosen by Jackson himself.
He selected Navi to perform at two of his birthday parties, giving him a standing ovation and inviting him to spend a day at his Neverland home. The pair remained close and Navi often was hired to act as Jackson’s decoy/body double due to his uncanny resemblance to the Motown star.
Navi has since performed in 57 countries and is now bringing his band and dancers to British theatres in a new show that recreates the Jackson hits from the early Jackson 5 numbers to Thriller, Beat It and Smooth Criminal.
