KILDWICK jazz singer Clare Teal presents a Festive Fiesta at Harrogate Royal Hall tonight at 7.30pm on her return to Yorkshire.

Now in its sixth year, Clare's winter warmer offers seasonal swing, cheeky retro grooves and a smattering of cozy fireside ballads for a little romance as she and her band revive the songs of Peggy Lee, Doris Day, Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole and Ella Fitzgerald.

Lesser known standards will feature too, along with original numbers from Clare’s festive album Jing, Jing-A-Ling, and Clare and friends will be joined by a chorus selected from Yorkshire choirs.

Clare has been voted British Jazz Singer of the Year twice and the BBC’s Jazz Singer of the Year once and presents Clare Teal's Sunday Night focus on swing and big band music on BBC Radio 2 from 9pm to 11pm.

Tickets for tonight cost £22.50 on 01423 502116 or at harrogatetheatre.co.uk
