FOLK and world music band The Hut People play The Junction in Goole on January 17.
Taking their audience on a voyage across the globe, they perform an ebullient blend of home-grown tunes and British, Nordic and European folk music, embellished with the driving accordion of Sam Pirt and the exotic percussion of Gary Hammond.
The Hut People, who have played Swaledale Festival for five consecutive years, released their second album, Picnic, on the Fellside label in April 2012. Tickets for their Goole show cost £10, concessions £8, on 01405 763652.
