MILES Kane will play York Barbican on March 19 on his 2014 spring tour.
The Birkenhead singer-songwriter is at present working on new material for his follow-up to this June’s Don’t Forget Who You Are, his second album.
Kane cut his teeth in The Rascals and came to prominence in his collaboration with the Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner, The Last Shadow Puppets, before releasing his solo debut, Colour Of The Trap, in 2011. In May that year, he played The Duchess in his last appearance in York.
He will be joined in his band by drummer Jay Sharrock, keyboards player Ben Parsons, bassist Phill Anderson and rhythm guitarist and vocalist George Moran.
Tickets for the only Yorkshire concert of Kane’s 15-date March and April itinerary are on sale on 0844 854 2757, at yorkbarbican.co.uk or in person from the box office, open Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm.
