GARY Barlow will play Leeds First Direct Arena on night two of his 2014 solo tour on Thursday, April 3.

The X Factor judge and Take That leader is booked in for nine arena shows next spring following the November 25 release of his first studio album in 14 years, Since I Last Saw You, through Polydor. First single Let Me Go will be out on Monday.

When Barlow toured last year, ticket demand was so high that he could have sold out the dates more than six times over. He is now in his third year on The X Factor’s panel.

This week he is bringing together big names from the music industry for two concerts for BBC Children In Need Rocks 2013 at London’s Eventim Apollo to help to change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across Britain. Taking part will be Robbie Williams, Dizzee Rascal, Ellie Goulding, Little Mix and Rizzle Kicks.
